Subiaco vs. Burswood

A stadium at Burswood?  That was a bit sudden wasn’t it?

Colin Barnett’s announcement that a new stadium will be built at Burswood makes us wonder why Kitchener Park in Subiaco wasn’t chosen when it clearly is the logical choice.

The City of Subiaco has continually advocated the retention of the stadium in Subiaco. Following the premier's announcement to construct the new stadium at Burswood, the city had one simple request – that any stadium site is benchmarked against Kitchener Park.
